Contented Critters Animal Sanctuary

Makinen, Minnesota. We are a non-profit shelter.

www.contentedcritters.org

The Spay, Neuter, Aid Program (SNAP) was established to provide assistance for low cost veterinary services. We further endeavor throughout St. Louis County ( Minnesota ) to try to alleviate the over population of animals.

Snap's professional and volunteer staff accomplishes these purposes by providing a range of programs to alleviate the immediate affects of the over population of animals, and by working to prevent the over population in the future. Education and legislative activities provide opportunities to insure that all animals, regardless of species, will continue to receive appropriate spay and neutering treatment in the future. The corporation is organized exclusively for the charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

Contented Critters Animal Sanctuary is licensed by the state of Minnesota . It is a haven for the abandoned, neglected, abused and unwanted animals of St. Louis County . This non-profit, NO-KILL animal sanctuary is fully funded by donations. Contented Critters is run by an all-volunteer staff whose sole purpose is to protect and care for these animals until suitable homes can be found for them. We are committed to stopping the over-population of unwanted animals. No animal leaves this sanctuary without being spayed or neutered.

English Cocker Spaniel Club of America, Inc.
The English Cocker Spaniel Club of America, a 501c4 organization, established its own rescue program in 1989 for the primary purpose of rescuing English Cockers at risk in shelters, other rescues or from private owners no longer able to keep their dogs. We also counsel owners to see if re-homing can be avoided. Not all dogs can or should be rescued, for example, dogs with serious temperament issues, but we will make every attempt to evaluate each situation individually.
