The Grayson County Humane Society 213 William Thomason Byway Leitchfield , KY 42754, 270-230-8839 www.graysoncountyhumanesociety.petfinder.org The Grayson County Humane Society is an all-volunteer that operates the Leitchfield Animal Shelter. We are an open admission municipal facility, so must take any animal brought in from within the city limits. We try very hard to find homes for all of our homeless pets, and work very hard to keep them healthy and happy until their time for a new home arrives. We also assist the citizens of Grayson County by helping them locate low-cost spay/neuter and other vetting services. P.O. Box 163 Munfordville, Kentucky , 42765 realdogrsq2@yahoo.com

our programs or adoptable animals. Paws, Claws & More is a new rescue group in the Paducah area, but we are made up of seasoned rescuers who have saved hundreds of animals either as individuals or with other rescue groups. PCM is made up of volunteers only. We have no paid staff. Our goal is to save animals and find them great, loving homes. When we rescue an animal, we have certain vetting requirements that the pet must adhere to before getting adopted out. This includes spay or neuter, vaccinations, worming and treatment for parasites. We turn over our animals to no-kill shelters so that they may find homes
or we adopt them out ourselves. We sometimes transport our rescued animals
to shelters in areas where spay/neuter laws are more strict, as these
areas don't have as many strays and abandoned animals as the Paducah
area does. a prive, non-profit organization, advocates the humane treatment of
companion animals through leadership and proactive solutions to pet overopopulation,
including adoptions, education and spay/neuter efforts. As the area's
number one resource for pets and pet services. KHS offers adoptions,
behavior training, animal rescue, spay/neuter efforts, boarding, grooming,
Doggie Daycare, in-home pet sitting, humane education programs and summer
camp for kids. For more information, visit www.kyhumane.org or
