We pull our furry ones from "Death Row" at local shelters, accept owner surrenders to prevent the animal from going to the shelters and bring home those who were tossed out to fend for themselves. All of our animals, prior to going to their forever homes, will be spay/neutered, heartworm tested, fecal test, dewormed, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, safer tested, and on a heartworm preventative and flea/tic preventative. Once you've found your new furry family member, we require an adoption application be completed and a home visit to ensure our girls/boys are going to the right environment for their individual personalities. If all goes well with these two items then an adoption contract between yourself and our facility will be completed and your new family member goes home with you. www.perfectpawspetrescue.org Purrfect Friends for Adoption, Inc. Mixed Up Mutts,
Inc. We work with regional animal shelters to rescue dogs who are good candidates for our prison program. Inmates at Westville Correctional Facility live with the dogs 24/7 and work with them on basic obedience and manners. They have also trained one assistance dog for a young boy with balance problems. Once the dogs have finished training, they are offered to the public for adoption. This program was designed, developed and implimented by our members and except for one paid employee to oversee it, we staff it as well. cat rescue. Countryside Animal Rescue is a group of local citizens concerned with the welfare and treatment of dogs and cats in Madison County and surrounding areas. We believe education and other outreach programs will heighten awareness of pet over-population and animal health care needs in our community. Countryside Animal Rescue works with a network of foster homes to provide care, housing, food, medical assistance and behavioral training for dogs and cats in need. Our foster program provides a loving, caring ‘home’ environment as an alternative to kennel conditions in shelter facilities utilized by some animal welfare groups. Our foster program enables our funds to go directly to the animals’ needs rather than incur expenses for the overhead of maintaining a structure and its associated costs. Countryside Animal Rescue is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization operated solely by volunteers and primarily on the kindness of our donors and members. If you would like to join us in this effort or learn more about our programs, please visit our website at www.countrysideanimalrescue.org. Central
