Pet Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit organization located in Miami Gardens , Florida , devoted to saving the lives of homeless and abandoned pets, and to finding these animals loving homes since 1982. Pet Rescue, Inc. is a no-kill animal shelter, providing care to unwanted cats and dogs, attending to their needs until a suitable home is found, offering a second chance at life!
We Do Not Euthanize Animals In Our Care! Pet Rescue is an alternative to the thousands of deaths suffered by unwanted pets on the streets and in many shelters. Pet Rescue spays or neuters all animals that come into our care, providing food, veterinary care and shelter until a home can be found - no matter how long it takes.
The SPCA of
North Brevard, Inc. Pet Rescue North, Inc. (PRN) was established in 1992 as a non-profit, NO-KILL animal shelter, registered with the State of Florida. PRN was the dream of a lady named Barbara Moody. She felt all abandoned and stray animals on the Northside of Jacksonville deserved to find a haven where they would be safe until suitable homes could be found. However, Barbara became seriously ill and passed away before her dream could become a reality. Peggy Haynes, a dedicated, hard working volunteer took over operation of PRN and the associated shelter. Although PRN is not yet the big beautiful facility Barbara had envisioned, we are fulfilling some of her dreams. PRN has been operating now for over sixteen years thanks to one of our original sponsors Dr. Philip Hightman, DVM. Dr. Hightman provided the property (via a no interest mortgage) for our kennels and reasonably priced medical care to get our shelter moving forward.
Animal Refuge
Center The Animal Refuge Center of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year. ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death. Paws & Claws Located in Chiefland, FL-a very rural area with lots of homeless dogs and cats. We rescue from our local kill shelters and also help people who are looking to place their pets(so that they do not end up in a kill shelter with an unknown future). We do all breed dog and cat rescue and make sure that our rescues are fully vetted before going home. We do not have our own website...we can only be found by accessing www.petfinder.com and searching their database(either by pet or location). People may contact us by e-mail at rkish@svic.net (preferable) or by phone(352)490-6608(home) or (352)871-2012(cell). We operate this rescue from our home and the majority of pets on our site are fostered with us...occassionally we have pets who are fostered elsewhere but most are here so we know them first hand. Our goal is to place as many pets as possible with loving, forever homes and to educate our community about responsible pet ownership. http://www.heidislegacydogrescue.com/ We are a non-profit 501(c)(3), no-kill, animal rescue organization made up entirely by volunteers. We are dedicated to rehabilitating, caring for and finding permanent placements for abused, neglected and unwanted animals in a no-kill environment. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. We care for all the animals we take in until they are adopted. CHESED FOUNDATION,
INC. “Any religion not based on respect for life is not a true religion. Until he extends his circle of compassion to all living things, man will not himself find peace.” Albert Schweitzer (1875-1965) Chesed Foundation was started unofficially 12 years ago. In 2004 Chesed was incorporated as a non-profit and obtained the designation as a 501 (c) (3) charity in January 2005. Throughout this time the mission of saving helpless and unwanted pets has not changed. Chesed is defined as a sustaining action which comes out of kindness and compassion. Acts qualify as Chesed when they are motivated by a spirit of honest and selfless generosity, not one of obligation or expectation of "something" in return. It is part of the Chesed philosophy to act on behalf of those that can't help themselves. http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/FL437.html Welcome to Bradford

until we find their permanent "forever" home.
